HOW IT WORKS

The Repiper Step by Step system

A clean, non-invasive method for renewing pipes – without tearing up floors or walls. Using patented tools and a proven process, it enables fast, cost-efficient renovations with minimal disruption. With traditional methods like inversion with re-instatements, or “gapping”, your sewer will not be fully rehabilitated and the pipes are very much still at the mercy of their initial condition. The Repiper Step by Step System fully seals the host pipe and is a self supporting end product.

OUR PROCESS

How trenchless commercial sewer repair works

Step 1

The pipes are cleaned and descaled to expose any leaks or damage and, more importantly, restore the pipe to its original inner diameter. If scale remains inside the pipe, important clues critical to the lining installation’s success may be overlooked, leading to inconsistent installations that can make or break a project.

Step 2

The liner is carefully saturated with a two-part epoxy on the outside before it is installed into the old pipe

Step 3

The liner is installed in the old pipe using either the pull-in-place method or the inversion method. The pull-in-place method is primarily used for sectional or remote installations, tee, wye, and straight liners. The inversion method is used for longer installations.

Step 4

Air pressure is applied to ensure the new liners fully expand inside the old pipes. The liners are installed in the direction of water flow and overlap each other to prevent sewer or drain water from getting behind the lining over time, ensuring a long-lasting seal and reliable performance.

Step 5

Once the new liner is in place, it must be cured. This can be done either passively (ambient curing) or actively with heat using hot water or steam to speed up the epoxy curing process. During curing, the epoxy resin hardens to create a seamless, smooth, structurally sound, and corrosion-resistant new pipe.
